About Axilon

Axilon is building the AI operating system for industrial environments. Our mission is to shepherd the world’s most important industrial companies toward lights-out factories, where agents perform most critical operational knowledge work and eventually serve as the central coordination mechanism for humans and robots at the execution layer. Most of the hard technical problems we solve are at the context layer—namely, contextualizing raw industrial data at scale so LLMs can deliver accurate, reliable insights, optimizations, and predictions in real time.

The role

You’ll join a small, senior team building the platform underneath Prophet: the deterministic parsers, data layer, and agent infrastructure that turn raw plant data into context LLMs can reason over. You will own features end to end, from backend services and ingest pipelines to the UI a plant engineer clicks, and you’ll work directly with customers when it helps you understand the problem.

What you'll do

• Build and scale Prophet’s backend services and data layer (Go/TypeScript, Postgres, Neo4j)
• Build the parsers and integrations that turn SCADA, PLC, historian, MES, and ERP data into one unified plant model
• Build agent infrastructure and large-scale ingest pipelines across AWS and Azure
• Design interfaces industrial operators actually use: clean, simple, and focused on what they need
• Own features end to end, and turn what customers hit in the field into platform improvements

What we're looking for

• 3+ years of full-stack or backend engineering
• Shipped backend systems and LLM-powered products in production
• AI tools (Cursor, Claude Code, or similar) are core to how you work
• Strong CS foundation (degree or equivalent)
• (Bonus) Large-scale data work: ingest pipelines, graph databases (Neo4j), or RAG over structured data
